7/8 Graphing Fractions

I want you to finish the graph we started in class.
The points for the x-values should be at 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., up to 16.
The points for the y-values can be found using the equation I explained in class:
    y 1   +    1
             2        x+1

For example, if x = 1, then y =   1   +    1
                                                  2        1+1

                                         y =   1   +
                                                  2        2

7/8 Reading Comprehension

Students identified the following words from a reading in class that they did not understand:
pseudonym           interpose           seized
entrenched            rhetoric             deliberately
inextricably           alliteration          knack
inflammatory         invective            prestige

They are responsible for reading definitions for four of the words and being able to explain what each of those four words mean. The three columns of words above are the groups of words I assigned.
There will also be a spelling test of these 12 words on Friday.
