Students have been given information about vaccinations available at school this year. Grade 7 students can get Hepatits B and Meningitis vaccines. Female grade 8 students can get the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine. These vaccinations are free if administered at school, otherwise you would have to pay to get them from a doctor.

Mr. Marshall's Math Help Times
I am available many times during the week for extra help in math. For quick, clarification questions, students can come see me at 8:30 a.m. before the entry bell.
For help with homework or for extra work/help, students can ask to see me during any recess, lunch or after school time. Provided I don't have supervision duty in the yard I will be happy to meet with them.
I am not available after school on Tuesdays.
Marks used in assessments
There are 3 commonly used marking systems. Up to grade 6 you will be used to seeing letter grades. However, the Ministry of Education mandates that grade 7 to 12 report cards use a percentage system. Many teachers use a marking system called 'levels' that you may see on your child's work. The chart below shows the marks for all three systems and how they are equivalent.
