We have been learning about the reading strategies of visualization and prediction in class. We understand that effective readers visualize (make a movie in their minds) as they read. This assists a reader to follow the story line and understand the text. We understand that effective readers make prediction about what they read and use clues from the text to support their predictions.
There will be a test on visualization and prediction on Thursday, Dec. 12th. You will be given a short story that does not include the ending. It will be a story from one of the "Chicken Soup" books, similar to the stories we have read in class.
