Students are learning to analyse and write their own poems. We have read the famous Canadian poem by Robert Service titled "The Cremation of Sam McGee". Students have chosen words this week that are from or relate to this ballad form of poetry. The words this week are:
ventured, derelict, hearkened, debt, moil, sluice, scowl, crematorium, loath, clamour, grimace and gristly
