Ricketts Language - Reading Response of your choice edited based on first round of descriptive feedback

Choose your best reading response out of the 4 we have completed.  Edit it based on the success criteria and the descriptive feedback you received in class.  Please print your response if possible OR have it readable on the computer for Monday, April 28th.

Success Criteria

Use the writing process to help you develop and expand on your ideas

Use examples from the text to support your answers

Make inferences by combining clues from the text with your own knowledge

Use strategies like referring to details from specific pages in the text, adding quotations from text and making comparisons to support your answers 

Use descriptive vocabulary that demonstrates a gr. 6 - 7 level

Organize your ideas (main idea, supporting details and conclusion) when answering a question

Stay on topic for concise answers

Proofread your work for spelling, grammar and punctuation
